The ultimate in travel system luxury

Avantgarde by Mercedes-Benz & Hartan

2019 sees the launch of the new Mercedes Benz Avangarde stroller which is the result of a design collaboration between the giant car manufacturer and Hartan a German family firm renowned for quality prams. Hartan are market leaders in several European countries and have been building world class prams for over 60 years. The Avangarde, is a luxurious German built (by hand) baby carriage featuring stunning design elements including the AMG design inspired five twin spoke wheels.

As you would expect from the likes of Mercedes-Benz and Hartan the Avantgarde is the ultimate in luxury for baby, boasting adjustable suspension and Solight Ecco air-chamber tyres that ensures the smoothest of rides, whilst the finest of finishing touches including the iconic three-pointed star and the Mercedes-Benz logo are sure to turn heads.

The Mercedes-Benz Avantgarde aluminium chassis weighs just 8.9kg and allows the multi-adjustable and supremely stylish and ergonomically upholstered pushchair seat, which weighs just 4.1kg, to be placed in either parent or forward facing positions. The seat has an integral height adjustable footrest, with built in safety reflectors, to ensure that the child sits comfortably and safely at all stages of growth.  To make a travel system, the Avantgarde also accepts numerous top-quality child car seats.

The telescopic handlebar has a luxurious double stitched grip; there is a large storage compartment and a one-touch parking brake. The ultra-lightweight carrycot folds down for ease of transport and storage.

The Avantgarde is available in three fabric colour options, Sport, Dolce Vita and Deep Sea, each one closely replicating the fabrics used in the top models within the Mercedes-Benz car collection.

Meeting the very highest requirements in terms of material selection and production quality the Mercedes-Benz Avantgarde also bears the German Association for Technical Inspection Certificate (TÜV) seal of approval, a marque normally unheard of in relation to strollers.
