Has your Valentine stolen your heart?Maybe the ultimate romantic gesture is a chocolate replica to remind them it is theirs to keep.  (And eat!)

The strikingly realistic chocolate organ is the creation of UK artist, Sarah Hardy and is a product from her unique online chocolate museum store.  She sells fossils, birds' eggs, human organs and even the natterjack toad.

One customer bought the heart for ananesthesiologist who was struck byits accuracy.

"This is one of the most spectacular chocolate items I've ever seen. The recipient was an anesthesiologist who has seen more than his fair share of actual human hearts. At his first glance, I honestly think he believed we'd given him a real heart! He was blown away by its accuracy and realistic beauty. I can't recommend this enough, even for those who haven't held a real heart in their hands!" Review on the website.

New to the collection is the human brain.  If a lifelike heart is not your thing or even too cliché, why not give your loved one a brain replica with a message: Can't get you out of my head!

Hardy has wowed clients such as Mick Jagger, with her ghoulish sculpted chocs that are not for everyone. She is often in demand with PR and ad agencies requesting commissions.

She launched The Edible Museum, after making wax-work figures for the museum sector.  The idea for the award-winning business grew from a request to make a white chocolate vertebrae forBarts Pathology Museumin London.  Similar commissions followed for chocolate body parts with customers from Harvard University and UCL, University College London.

Now consumers can purchase from this ghoulish range of hand-painted chocolates. What would your Valentine fancy? An internal organ or a fossil?  Or are you about to propose...add a life-like chocolate finger to spice up the proposal.

These chocolates are not for the faint-hearted but they have attracted the attention of leading universities, Paramount Pictures, scores of archaeologists, naturalists and celebrities looking for show-stopping celebration gifts.

A gift from the Edible Museum shop will make this Valentine's Day one never to forget.
