The new Oyster Carapace Infant i-Size seat from BabyStyle
The latest addition to the multi award winning Oyster range from BabyStyle is the new Carapace i-Size collection which includes the Carapace Toddler i-Size and the Duofix i-Size base, which together offer rearward facing comfort and safety up to around 4 years or it can be switched to forward facing after 15 months.
The Carapace Infant i-Size is used in the mandatory rearward facing position and is suitable from birth (40cm) to approx. 12 months (83cm). The Carapace Infant i-Size has a side impact defence system that is designed to protect baby in the event of a side-on collision.
The seat integrates ‘Click ‘n' Go' technology for convenience and safety and employs a red and green notification system making it easy to install on the Duofix base ensuring a secure fit every time.
The seat features a removable head and body hugger, press adjust system and a one-pull safety harness, shoulder and crotch harness pads, harness and headrest adjustment, a sun canopy for shade and has a removable and washable cover.
The ‘Click ‘n' Go' technology and intuitive release buttons allow the Carapace Infant i-Size to be interchanged between the Duofix base and a stroller, creating the perfect travel system.
The Carapace Infant i-Size can also be installed in a vehicle using the vehicles 3 point seat belt.
The Carapace i-Size collection is complaint with the latest regulations in European car seat safety ECE R129. By 2022 all new car seats must adhere to i-Size guidelines.
