Local Entrepreneur joins forces with Celebrity Friends to stage Christmas Charity Fund-Raiser

Paul Rowlett, CEO of the successful Charles Alexander Distribution Group which this year opened offices in Las Vegas, threw himself into the party spirit at the weekend at the company's annual Exceed Awards and Christmas Charity Extravaganza.

In the company of celebrity friends, Rylan Clark, S-Club3 (formed from the original S-Club7 line up) and national treasure Chesney Hawkes, Rowlett arranged the event to honour his high-flying staff whilst raising a massive £13K on the night as part of a £45,000 pledge to charity.

The glittering evening took place at 15 Ravensbridge Drive, Leicester. A catalogue of staff awards, including an extravagant prize draw was followed by legendary entertainment, with S-Club3 taking to the stage, followed by Chesney Hawkes - the ‘One and Only' and a thrilling performance from Bloxed Beats. Dancing continued well into the night with DJ sets from both US and UK MC's. Not only was it a fabulous night, it was a chance to raise money for partner charities, and celebrate the year's achievements, not least the new outpost in Las Vegas.

Three chosen charities benefited from the event including the Bodie Hodges Foundation which is local to Leicester and offers support to families bereaved of children; Global's Make Some Noise, a national initiative promoting radio shout-outs for smaller charities, and Sports Traider, another national charity which redirects unwanted sports equipment to young people in need. All three charities were overwhelmed by the phenomenal wave of donations made on the night.

Paul Rowlett emphasised his philosophy of showing appreciation to his team, saying: "The guys have spent the whole year going that extra mile for our customers, the least I can do is go an extra mile for them." EverythingBranded is a great investor in people, and Rowlett has a reputation for giving jobs to youngsters who are down on their luck through a successful apprenticeship scheme and training programmes.

"If you show someone that you trust them to do well, they will. It's about investing in our most valuable collateral, our people, and then paying that forward.

"We aimed for the stars this year and have achieved milestone sales of £20 million and broken industry records," he added.

EverythingBranded.co.uk,one of the country's leading suppliers of branded goods and promotional gifts, has enjoyed phenomenal success since Rowlett set the company up eight years ago. His dynamism and maverick approach to business has grown the brand from quite literally, nothing. Aside from opening a new HQ and Sales Centre in the US, the company has set up EveryBranded.ca in Canada, will open in Ireland in January in 2019 and in Australia in August next year.

Renowned for both his can-do operational style, Rowlett has masterminded exponential corporate growth since founding the Charles Alexander Group in 2008. From offices inspired by Google's approach to workplace décor with fake grass picnic areas for meetings, Star Wars and Jurassic Park tunnels connecting to eating and activity areas, the EverythingBranded team work hard and play hard, supporting many and varied charities, culminating in this regular Christmas event. A chance, as Rowlett says, for everyone to "let their hair down."

Rylan Clark who hosted the evening in his usual warm and flamboyant style said: "It was a great evening. It's unusual to meet someone of Paul's stature that's so down to earth and such a gent. I can't wait for my invite to Vegas!"
