BULLARDS OLD TOM - FESTIVE WINTER WARMER
Gin lovers are in for a treat as Norwich's favourite gin company launches its newest product just in time for the Christmas party season to begin in earnest.
Bullards Old Tom gin (42.5% ABV) is a contemporary take on an 18thcentury classic recipe. Combining the soft sweetness of mango and Norfolk honey with a hint of spice from cassia bark and pink pepper, Old Tom is the ideal base for warming drinks this winter. Smooth enough to sip straight-up, it's also delicious served up as a cocktail.
Distilled and bottled in Norwich, the launch of Bullards Old Tom coincides with the release of stylish new packaging across the range, making it twice the gift this Christmas. The new bottles have been designed in London and manufactured in Italy, using a colour palette inspired by vintage beer bottles to reflect the brand's 180-year brewing origins. Other nods to the brand's heritage include the bespoke bottle shape, where the neck replicates the iconic chimney stack that once towered over Bullards' Anchor Brewery in Norwich, giving the bottles great on-shelf standout and a drip-free pour.
Bullards Winter Garden cocktail
A smooth cocktail with seasonal apple and a hint of warming spice, this festive cocktail is just the thing to keep you warm this winter:
Ingredients
- 50ml Bullards Old Tom Gin
- 50ml apple juice (freshly-pressed is best)
- Teaspoon of Norfolk honey
- 15ml freshly-squeezed lime juice
Shake the Old Tom, apple juice, honey and lime together and strain over ice. Garnish with sliced apple and a stick of cinnamon. Best served in a Copa glass or large balloon to ensure maximum flavour.
