Blue Friday

Everything Branded ( - the Leicester based promotional gifts distributor, is spearheading an alternative to Black Friday later this week when it launches its Blue Friday campaign designed to play its part in reducing the ‘consumption' and disposal of plastic waste.

The company headed by Paul Rowlett, which has just opened a US HQ and sales centre in Las Vegas, has chosen to follow the lead of Sir David Attenborough whose latest documentary, Blue Planet II, shows how humans are fast destroying the world's oceans.

Influenced by the highly-acclaimed documentary, Everything Branded has responded to Sir David Attenborough's conservation rallying cry and will be switching up Black Friday with Blue Friday and offering a range of eco-friendly products which will be available at a 15% discount using a discount code. These  can be reused and recycled from 23rd November until 21st December.

EverythingBranded team member, Chloe Rayner McFarland (photographed left with Sir David Attenborough and the reusable mug)is passionate that Everything Branded sources its materials with care, saying: "We are totally committed tothis cause and want to play our part in encouraging the reduction of plastic waste to protect our marine life.

"As highlighted in the Blue Planet II documentary, we must recognise the uncomfortable fact that the health of our oceans is under threat and they are changing at a faster rate than ever before in human history."

Paul Rowlett and his dynamic team are determined to develop their business at minimal cost to the planet by balancing output with ethics. Everything Branded carries a range of keenly priced recycled paper products. He explains: "Our challenge is to supply high quality products whilst meeting the best criteria for eco-sensitivity.

"When you use recycled paper instead of "virgin" paper, you are contributing to saving 7,000 gallons of water per ton of paper produced and you're also offsetting the destruction of 900 million trees per year. Existing resources are finite and fragile, not to mention the impact that deforestation has on global warming."

As part of the green responsibility, Everything Branded has launched an eco-mug, made of bamboo fibre and corn, and a reusable mug emblazoned with the motif ‘Don't leaf me, I'm reusable'. Paul adds: "We currently carry over 40,000 different products and are actively researching alternative sources of supply to offer our customers where possible. We plan to launch an expanded range of products which are either recycled, reusable or biodegradable in 2019."

Everything Branded is determined to continue its precipitous expansion without losing sight of its environmental responsibilities, as the businessman says: "We all need to do more to protect the environment.  As the great naturalist Sir David says: ‘The future of all life now depends on us.'"
