Leaders in medical technology, experts in medical device service

-         Removing financial risk from medical equipment servicing

-         Multi-Vendor Services from Dräger

-         Working with Milton Keynes University Hospital for over 18 years

Dräger is extremely proud to have been chosen once again for the provision of Multi-Vendor Service at the Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH). The long-standing relationship between the two organisations has always been based on mutual trust and respect, with Dräger striving to exceed contract objectives and service satisfaction levels year on year.

Ayca Ahmed, Medical Devices Manager at MKUH says,

‘We are delighted to continue working alongside the Dräger team. The EBME team are very professional and passionate about their work and have continually delivered an excellent service to the hospital over the past few years. We look forward to many more years of delivering exceptional care to the people of Milton Keynes together."

Removing financial risk from servicing
Dräger's Multi-Vendor Service offering takes away the financial risk for hospitals when it comes to looking after medical devices by offering a contract price that the hospital can plan and budget for. Dräger takes the risk for any unexpected costs that may arise within the term of the contract, but minimises these with investment in high levels of staff training and implementation of the latest test equipment technology.

All planned maintenance is managed by Dräger, and repairs are reported via a workshop team of trained biomedical engineers and skilled administrators. Dräger ensure that manufacturer guidelines are observed and work closely with the original equipment manufacturers and speciality service providers to ensure the highest level of service at all times.

Specific key performance indicators are put on the services offered such as; ensuring 97% of equipment is serviced on time, meaning less downtime for the hospital and exceptional levels of service satisfaction.

Multi-Vendor Services can be tailored to suit the needs of the hospital and  Dräger can also work with hospital management to reduce costs and increase efficiency in specific departments such as in the Medical Equipment Library where Set2Go bespoke device accessory packs can save time and reduce unnecessary errors.
