Beverley skincare doctor invited to join panel at industry conference

 

A respected Beverley skincare doctor has been invited onto the panel for a round table event at a forthcoming prestigious Cosmetic and Personal Care Industry conference.

 

A published author of several scientific skincare papers, Dr. Katerina Steventon will join fellow experts in a new initiative at the SCS Formulate 2018 conference next month (13 - 14 November).

 

Dr. Steventon will be one of three consultants to take part in ‘Consultants' Corner', an ‘ask the experts' question, discussion and answer session that is being held for the first time at the conferenceat the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

 

Czech Republic born Dr. Steventon will be joined in theround table discussions on skincareby Cosmetic Chemist, Mona Matharu and Corina Lucian from Salon Corina.

Speaking about the opportunity, Dr. Steventon said: "It's a real honour to be invited to join the first Consultants' Corner - it's a great initiative that I'm sure will be well received by conference delegates."
 

SCS Formulate 2018 is a two day conference that attracts over 200 exhibitors and showcasesraw materials, ingredients and formulation services used in creating personal care and cosmetic products. The round table discussion on skincare takes place at 11.30am on 13thNovember.

Dr. Steventon writes for professional publications including International Journal of Cosmetic Science, Cosmetics and Toiletries and Soap and Perfumery and Cosmetics. 

 

Before establishing independent skincare consultancy FaceWorkshops in 2009, Dr. Steventon's experience spanned several years and continents - from prestigious skincare brand, La Prairie in her native Czech Republic to Shiseido in Japan and Smith and Nephew wound healing in Hull.

 

Dr. Steventon uses her PhD in skin science combined with her professional facial therapy training to provide clients with a bespoke package of scientifically validated products combined with facial therapies at her salon in the heart of the historic town of Beverley in East Yorkshire.

 

Dr. Steventon's signature anti-ageing serum,4, was shortlisted in the Pure Beauty Awards in 2017 and her new9Radiance Eye and Lip Serum was shortlisted in this year's awards.
