New Festive Flavour Joins The Winter Collection
Simply Ice Cream, the indulgent artisan ice cream producer, is launching a new Mince Pie flavour this winter. The new flavour will join the winter collection which comprises two Great Taste two star award winning favourites Christmas Pudding and Cinnamon.
Mince Pie flavouris made with whole mince pies which are made with shortcrust pastry encasing a fruit-rich mincemeat mixture of sultanas, currants, raisins, apple, cherry, candied mixed peel, almonds, vegetable suet, mixed spices and a dash of Courvoisier VSOP cognac.
Christmas Pudding is created with plump rum-soaked raisins combined with succulent Christmas pudding mix which is rich in fruit, winter spices, sherry and cider, creating a fantastically festive taste sensation to stand-alone or complement traditional Christmas foods.
Cinnamon flavour offers gentle aromatic heat from the real cinnamon used in the making.
The winter collection is priced individually at £4.99 and available in 500ml tubs from selected Waitrose, Morrisons and Coop as well as independent fine food stores, restaurants, farm shops, delicatessens, cafes, tea rooms and restaurants across Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey and London.
Simply Ice Cream is made by a small team in Kent producing ice cream the old fashioned way, by hand, in small batches using only locally sourced Kent ingredients (where possible), natural flavours and seasonal fruits. The ice cream is free from any syrups, mixers, additives or preservatives, offering just pure natural goodness and flavour for all the family.
