Sweet treats on offer at
Beverley law firm’s free seminar
Making legals
sweet – that’s the theme of a free seminar being held by Beverley law firm,
James Legal, who have partnered up with the town’s popular shop and café White
Rabbit Chocolatiers to help lighten up what might seem difficult, confusing or
plain intimidating conversations.
Business owners
and individuals are invited to book a place at the informal event and take
advantage of free information from James Legal’s friendly experts, while
enjoying a complimentary White Rabbit drink with some delicious nibbles.
The seminar
will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday October 24, at the Dyer Lane
store.
Nick Miller,
James Legal’s Managing Director, said: “We thought it would be a good idea to
give local people a chance to access some free legal information and advice in
a relaxed setting where they can ask questions and chat with our team over a
cuppa.
“The ‘making
legals sweet’ theme is a bit of fun as it ties in with White Rabbit’s hand-crafted
goodies but it also reflects our fresh, personable approach to how we work with
clients. Our motto is ‘people first, lawyers second’ and not losing sight of
the human touch in what can sometimes feel like a pretty complex legal world is
very important to us.”
Guests at the
seminar can look forward to a 20-minute presentation, a choice of a free hot or
cold drink from White Rabbit’s menu, including aromatic coffees and
award-winning hot chocolate, and some of their mouth-watering chocolatey
morsels.
The session
will include wills and probate – something which is relevant to all
business-owners and individuals alike – with James Legal’s specialist wills,
family, and commercial lawyers on hand to explain matters and answer queries.
Questions such
as what happens to a business should the owner die or become incapacitated, why
is power of attorney important, and how to adapt your will to cater for tax
planning and potential care home fees will all be covered.
Nick added: “We
are offering attendees a discount on our wills service as well as a discount on
any purchases from the White Rabbit shop, which I’m sure will go down very
well!”
