BLANCO's charity bake-off success 

BLANCO UK joined most of the country and hosted a coffee morning in aid of cancer charity, Macmillan. The fun included delicious home-made goodies and competitions, including a "cake bake-off", "place the cherry on the cake" and "guess the length of the sausage roll".

The event was a huge success and, thanks to donations from the staff who donated their winnings back into the pot and Simon Hart, MD, who doubled the amount, the company raised a grand total of £500.

BLANCO UK's Marketing Manager, Ann-Marie Jones, commented, "We chose to support Macmillan as many of us know or have known someone who has been affected by cancer; friends, family or work colleagues.  It is an incredible charity offering support and advice for those who have just been diagnosed or have finished their treatment, and friends & family looking to support a loved one who has cancer."
