NEW BRITISH STANDARD OF PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY TOOLS LAUNCHES IN THE UK

In an industry which is worth in excess of £17 billion in the UK alone, beauty tools form an intrinsic part of treatments and aesthetic procedures. Yet, it remains an area where bespoke, high quality tools are hard to come by.

To meet demand, and with a clear emphasis on exemplary standards of hygiene and durability, Navy Professional has been launched. A range of signature beauty tools, specifically designed for lash, brow and nail treatments within the professional beauty sector, will bring a new standard of quality to the industry and are accredited by Dr Patricia Fenton, MB BS, NHS Trust Director of Infection Prevention and Control 2002-2013

"As a trained beautician and salon owner it became apparent that many of the tools available to the beauty industry were not fit for purpose," said Rebecca Crawforth owner Navy Professional. "It has always been my idea to develop a range of beauty tools that placed hygiene as the most important credential and, combined with high quality manufacturing, beauticians and practitioners across the globe will be able to enjoy the benefits that using Navy tools will bring."

The tools, which are designed and finished in Sheffield, are made from stainless steel and finished with a unique titanium coating. The tools are not subject to typical salon cleaning methods; indeed, and with guidance from previous NHS Trust Director of Infection Prevention and Control, Dr Patricia Fenton MB, BS a return to more traditional methods of cleanliness; washing, disinfecting and drying rather than steeping, will deliver unrivalled new standards of hygiene.

With titanium ensuring bacteria cannot adhere to the tools and manufactured to British Standard AISI 420 from surgical instrument Grade Stainless Steel, the tools offer quality, hygiene and reliability and are not comparable to others on the market.

"It was important to me that professional beauticians and salon owners were able to have a choice as to the hygiene practices they employ and this range of tools allows them to take their standards even higher surpassing customer expectations," said Rebecca. "I am looking forward to supporting salon owners through accreditation programmes, a five year guarantee for registered products and setting a new standard of beauty tools for the industry."

Navy Professional was launched in the UK on Monday 8th October 2018 and is now available for sale at www.navyprofessional.com.

All tools can be purchased online and range from £20-60 for an individual tool. Professional salon kits are also available.
