Recycling just got interesting
The Fowndry has the stunning Caran d'Ache classic 849 retractable ballpoint which is actually made from recycled Nespresso Darkhan capsules and fitted with a Goliath ballpoint refill offering up to 600 pages of A4.
The 849 ballpoint is a cool, understated design which is regularly reinvented by the Swiss firm in the form of limited and special editions, this is the first time it has been recycled.
The firm created an exclusive alloy using the aluminium from the Nespresso Darkhan capsules to achieve the satin finish in the exclusive slate blue colour of this sleek hexagonal writing instrument.
Made in Switzerland the Limited Edition Caran d'Ache 849 pen has a steel tip rotating tungsten carbide ballpoint ensuring a clean and smudge free line.
The packaging is all recyclable as is the pen itself.
