Staffordshire's fastest growing estate agency has opened a second branch in Penkridge creating two full-time and three part-time jobs.

Dourish & Day (D&D), set up by experienced property professionals Steve Dourish and Jeremy Day in March 2017, is on course to achieve its ambition of opening three offices by 2020.

Having moved from start-up to market leader in less than 12 months, D&D has seized the opportunity to branch out in Penkridge. The company's new office is in a prime position in The Square making it easily accessible to homebuyers and sellers, landlords and tenants.

As its business grows, the award-winning firm aims to create a network of branches in key locations throughout the Midlands. The business scooped several accolades at the 2018 ESTAs - the prestigious estate agency industry awards voted for by consumers - including Gold for the Best Estate Agency in the West Midlands and Silver in the Best Individual Office in the UK category, together with a handful of awards for its lettings division.

In less than 18 months D&D has grown from a workforce of just two, its founding directors, to a team of 11 full-time and five part-time staff.

Steve Dourish attributes the company's success to a traditional approach, where the focus is on personal service from experienced staff, coupled with better property marketing through targeted use of social media and online technologies.

He says: "For most people, their home is their most prized asset, so moving is a big deal. They wantto be kept informed about developments throughout the process, but they also value a High Street presence because they like tobe able to have a discussion with an experienced member of staff.

"By opening a second branch we're improving our accessibility and are aiming to emulate the achievements of our Stafford office and become the estate agent of choice for Penkridge and the surrounding area."

D&D's Penkridge office can be contacted between 8am and 9pm every day and for empty properties, where it holds the keys, viewings can be arranged seven days a week.
