We order them, they arrive, we install them, they work. That's really what we want in products of this nature.

London-based kitchen retailer, London Kitchen Store (http://www.londonkitchenstore.com), first opened its doors in the arches beneath Vauxhall train station in 2000. The innovative group now comprises three impressive showrooms; the newly-refurbished Vauxhall original, Surbiton (in 2004) and Fulham (in 2017).

Many world-leading brands comprise the portfolio; these include Dutch kitchen manufacturer, Keller Kitchens, and market leader in kitchen sinks and taps, BLANCO UK.

What has been your greatest success so far with London Kitchen Store?

Moving from a supply-only to a fully-serviced proposition. We can create a completely finished room - if required.

How do you keep up with the competition from other suppliers?

Our product is excellent; but there are many quality products out there. Where I like to feel we differ is having designers who enjoy producing kitchens which enjoy being used. Service is the key; liaising with builder and client for a great end result.

Do you receive customer feedback?

Our next step after creating our installation service was to monitor the level of trust and happiness with our clients. We do this with Trust Pilot and currently have a 5 star rating. I, as director of the company, visit some of the jobs and photograph them for our website. It's always good to have feedback direct from the client.

What has been the feedback from customers on the new showroom?

Fulham was really well received and prompted us to fully refurbish our Vauxhall showroom; with ten full kitchen displays, we are one of the largest independent showrooms in central London which gives our clients a really large choice of products.

Why did you choose Keller Kitchens over other manufacturers?

Having worked with Keller from opening the business, we have always had a good relationship, we find them efficient and they are quick to respond to any requests.

Can you provide a quote on how it has been working with Keller Kitchens?

Keller has always been - and continues to be - a great company to work with.

Looking forward to many more years together!

What is the biggest kitchen trend in 2018 so far?

Silky smooth ultra matt laminates with veined marble like composite worktops.

Keller is a Dutch company; do you see the UK kitchen market adapting to the Dutch style?

I think that the European style now has a very strong footing in British kitchens. What Keller does, it does better than the German kitchen manufacturers. There are the softer classic doors like the Berkley and Firenze available in solid stained timber and painted MDF or solid wood in 1950 colours.

What made you choose BLANCO and what do you like about the company and products?

We were looking for a main supplier of sinks and taps; something that would work for most application and budgets. BLANCO produces a good range of products which are robust and reliable. Following on from this, we committed to the BLANCO lighting range which has been just as successful for us.

Can you provide a quote on how it has been working with BLANCO?

Germanic, everything works as it should!

What are your most successful BLANCO products?

Probably the CULINA-S tap with its moveable sprayhead on a spring hose. It really is a versatile product and the spring/hose doesn't kink or split.

What makes these products so successful in London Kitchen Store?

We order them, they arrive, we install them, they work. That's really what we want in a product of this nature.
