Dräger extends monitoring portfolio in the UK
Dräger teams up with IDMED to extend monitoring portfolio in the UK.

Hemel Hempstead - Dräger, a leader in medical and safety technology has teamed up with French innovations provider IDMED to offer customers in the UK a wide range of anaesthesia management solutions.

Measuring quantitative results in anaesthesia management is fast becoming the standard for caregivers in operating theatres and intensive care. Dräger can now offer customers devices for neuromuscular transmission monitoring, pupillometry and algesimetry.

TOFscan NeuroMuscular Transmission Monitor
Providing an easy and reliable way to measure the muscle relaxation status of an anaesthetised patient. The device provides a range of data points to support with the treatment decision making and prevention of residual curarisation.

NeuroLight Portable Pupillometer
Replacing the pen light, the NeuroLight provides pupil size and dynamics measurement. The objective and accurate tool is a natural progression in technology for a routine examination to refine the neurological diagnostic in critical care and save valuable time.

AlgiScan Portable Pupillary Algesimeter
Designed to provide analgesia feedback in the operating theatre, measurements are obtained by filming the pupil reflex dilation following a noxious stimulus. Practitioners can adapt analgesic consumption to interindividual variability and be predictive with the Pupillary Pain Index.

MAPstation Fixed Pupillary Algesimeter
Fixed to an operating theatre, the MAPstation is always on hand to provide depth of analgesia measurement allowing anaesthetists to adjust analgesia level to the patient's need, thus avoiding under or over dosage.
