SHOES DESIGNED WITH LONDON STYLE AND INDIAN VIBRANCY
Every so often a new shoe designer appears who seems set on shaking up accepted norms and in her first shoe and bag collection, Meenu Graziani is doing just that.
Meenu's style is an exciting combination of vibrant jewel coloured suedes, leathers and fabrics that reflect her Indian culture to give classic evening shoes a new twist.
*IRIS, a high heeled mule made in a softly iridescent multi- coloured leather, typifies the range as does *ELECTRA, a classic high heel in Schiaparelli pink suede seen from the front and from the sides and heel playfully reveals a random cut-out design infilled with silver leather.
The initial collection consists of six shoe and three clutch bag designs, made in 100% leather, all of which are hand-crafted in Portugal with materials exclusive to the Meenu Graziani Ltd brand. Each shoe and bag is personally vetted by Meenu herself to ensure it conforms to her high standards.
Prices ranging from £595 for *ATHENA, a two toned, cut out, knee-high leather gladiator sandal to £335 for SELENE, a grey suede and silver leather polka dot evening sandal. Clutch bags range in price from £195 for ERIS designed to complement the ELECTRA high heel to £255 for RHEA which uses the iridescent muted rainbow colour leather used in IRIS and PERSEPHONE.
It's no coincidence that each shoe in the collection is named after a goddess — Meenu wants women of all ages to wear her shoes and feel confident, powerful and in control of her situation, in other words, a Goddess in her own life.
