Yorkshire's first distillery welcomes Carrie Martin to its monthly music night

 

Hull born singer and musician, Carrie Martin will be the next artist to perform at the Pot Still Coffee Shop when she plays the Spirit of Yorkshire venue in Hunmanby on 31stAugust.

 

Spirit of Yorkshire co-founder, David Thompson is delighted to welcome Carrie to the Pot Still stage: "Carrie resurrected a love of music that she had held since childhood andreturned to writing, playing, singing and performing in 2011,once she had raised her family. Carrie has continued to enthral audiences with her Eva Cassidy inspired music ever since and it will be a joy to welcome her to the Pot Still stage."

 

Tickets cost £10 without food, £15.50 with a cheese board or £16.50 with a charcuterie or ploughman's platter. Booking is essential by visitingwww.spiritofyorkshire.co.ukor by calling 01723891758.

 

David and fellow co-founder Tom Mellorshare a love of live music and they specifically designed the Pot Still Coffee Shop so that it perfectly accommodates a live band without overpowering the room.

 

Tom concluded: "The Pot Still Coffee Shop at the Spirit of Yorkshire is a small, intimate venue that attracts lovers of live music and good food. Where else in the area can you listen to quality music and enjoy a locally sourced platter of food for £16.50?"

 

Forthcoming events at the Pot Still Coffee Shop at The Spirit of Yorkshire include monthly Distillery Sessions featuring Andy Stones (28thSeptember) and Raven (26thOctober) and a ‘Pot Still Pop Up' whisky inspired 3 course meal on 11thOctober.

 

In addition to music and pop up food events, visitors to Spirit of Yorkshire can enjoy guided

Tours of the Distillery and home-made refreshments fromPot Still Coffee Shop seven days a week, all year round.
