English organic cowhide rugs. Each totally unique
These unique and individual organic cowhide rugs come from the English Cowhide Company's own organic farm meaning that the welfare and quality of the animal can be guaranteed as well as each skin being fully traceable through the animal's passport identification. If you have watched Countryfile you will know exactly what an animal passport is.
Each totally ethical skin is chrome tanned in Somerset, a process that gives the skin an amazing lustre and shine, and although colours are limited customers can be emailed images of current stock so that they can choose one to suit them, exactly. The herd consists of Jerseys, plan blacks and a few Jersey cross Belgium Blue.
These cowhide rugs are extremely hard wearing and easy to care for, dust, dirt and grime can simply be swept up and liquids can be simply mopped up and then the skin cleaned with a damp cloth or warm soapy water.
