Isle of Wight eatery stripped bare with SterlingOSB
Popular restaurant and bar,Stripped, located in coastal town Ventnor, Isle of Wight, has undergone a complete transformation with stranded board,SterlingOSB, the star of the show.
A substantial renovation project was undertaken to convert the previous bank into a restaurant. Klaus Kuhnke from Stripped commented, "We wanted to work the original wood into the design of the bar but a lot of it was damaged. We decided that we would have to rebuild the bar from scratch in the most economically viable way."
Taking advice from the builders at South Wight Construction, Klaus agreed that SterlingOSB was the best material to use. Modern, edgy and visually beautiful - and a cheaper alternative to other materials - FSC-certified SterlingOSB has added to the beach-side vibe of the restaurant maintaining the appearance of the original elements of the former bank.
