Start-up estate agency Dourish and Day (D&D) has enlisted expert business advice as it looks to build on a record first year in business characterised by five-fold growth and prestigious industry award wins.
Providing exceptional service which resulted in numerous recommendations and with an eye catching brand, the Stafford-based company quickly established itself as market leader in the town.Recognising the need to manage its expansion,Dourish & Daydecided to work with award-winning business advisors Howards Chartered Certified Accountants to maximise local and regional opportunitiesand to aid Dourish & Day's expansion plans.
Howards' director Ryan Hudson says: "In March last year Steve Dourish and Jeremy Day set up their business - it was just the two of them working out oftheir high streetoffice. Their vast property experience has enabled them to realise their goals far quicker than they had anticipated and that kind of success brings its own set of challenges!

The company has also picked up accolades at the ESTAS - the estate agency equivalent of the Oscars -forthe West Midlandsand silver award for the best office in the UK.Director Steve Dourish was also shortlisted for an individualpeoplesaward.
Dourish & Day'saccomplishments are attributed to delivering an unrivalled customer experience and introducing residential lettings without tenant application fees. With plans to open branch offices across Staffordshire, creating jobs for local people, the directors appreciate the importance of managing expectations.
