Renowned senior partner of solicitors to be keynote speaker at Swindon business lunch 

On Wednesday, 27 June 2018, PPS Chartered Accountants will present a PPS Business Lunch Club with Francis George, senior partner of Francis George Solicitor-Advocate. 

The event, which is open to all business professionals in the Swindon area, will provide a fantastic opportunity for attendees to network, listen to inspirational talks, and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. 

Francis, who has been shortlisted for the highly renowned Family Solicitor of the Year UK Award in 2018, will speak to attendees about how he came to realise his dream of becoming a leading solicitor advocate, as well as the ways in which he has combated racial prejudice in his working life.

The talk is sure to be an invaluable and inspiring opportunity, as Francis' achievements are far-reaching and impressive. Indeed, on top of the aforementioned accolade, the Francis George company won Best Divorce Law Firm in the 2017 Dispute Resolution Awards, and has been shortlisted for the 2018 Advocacy Solicitor of the Year UK Awards.

Senior partner Francis George said: "I'm really happy to be sharing my story with Swindon's local professionals, and to let them in on how I got here. My drive and determination to become one of the first black solicitor-advocates in the country has made me what I am today. I look forward to a fantastic event and to raising money for a fantastic cause."

The lunch will be raising money for Swindon Footprints, a recently inaugurated charity set up to provide homeless people in the area a place to shower, wash their clothes, find work, socialise, and much more. The charity will be speaking at the event and allowing guests to ‘buy' bricks to help build the necessary drop-in centre to get the charity up and running.
