Lyn Rigby - 5 years after Lee's murder

AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW - LYN RIGBY
5 YEARS SINCE THE DEATH OF FUSILIER LEE RIGBY MAY 22ND

Lee Rigby was the fusilier from Manchester who was brutally killed outside his barracks in Woolwich five years ago.  May 22nd marks the 5 year anniversary of
his brutal killing outside Woolwich Barracks.

Lee's mother - Lyn Rigby set up the Lee Rigby Foundation as Lee's legacy - Lee Rigby Foundation (leerigbylodge.org).

The foundation has since built Lee Rigby House - a safe and private space where UK Servicemen and their families can receive support, therapy and healing.

Lee Rigby House was completed in a 2o acre country estate in Staffs at the end of last year and the first 'guests' have passed through its doors in the last two weeks.

22 May not only marks the 5th anniversary of Lee's murder but is also the first anniversary of the Manchester bombing.

As a result of approaches from some of the victims of the Manchester bombing, Lee Rigby Foundation now includes support for victims of UK Terrorism and their families.

Lyn now feels that Lee's life has some meaning.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Notes
The opening of Lee Rigby Lodge marked the completion of the 1st phase of an ambitious development project at Moor Court (a 52 Victorian mansion) that will include the conversion of an annexe into further bedrooms followed by the renovation of many other buildings on the site and the creation of a garden and greenhouse for guests to grow plants, an art therapy centre and hydro therapy pool.
