East Yorkshirepoultry business welcomes latest recruits
Leading East Yorkshire poultry supplier Soanes Poultry has appointed two new staff members to support the growing business as it enters its 71styear of trading.
The Middleton-on-the-Wolds based business's team has been boosted byOperations Manager Tim Brooks and Purchase Ledger and Payroll Clerk, Brenda Sweetman.
Tim Brooks joins Soanes Poultry from the potato industry and is responsible formanaging the factory, dispatch and transport. In addition, he will be involved in special project work, cost analysis and staff development.
Of the move to Soanes Poultry, Mr Brooks said: "I love working for an independent company with brilliant genuine core values that strives for continuous improvements." Out of work, he enjoys fishing and walking, watching motorsport and a chicken Sunday roast.
Canadian born Brenda Sweetman's role includes paying invoices and managing the payroll for the company's 100 personnel. When's she's not at work, she relaxes by reading and hiking.
Nigel Upson, Soanes Poultry's General Manager,said he was delighted to welcome the new members of the team and was looking forward to working with them.
