Local business shortlisted for two national awards

Good Afternoon,

I'm writing with news that local contact centre EC Outsourcing has been shortlisted for two national awards in the UK National Contact Centre Awards 2018.

Up against more than 90 other companies, UK wide, this achievement comes after an accelerated growth period for EC, resulting in the creation of more than 85 jobs over the last 12 months.

Local business shortlisted for two national awards

 

Boldon-based contact Centre EC Outsourcing has been shortlisted down to the final in the UK National Contact Centre Awards 2018.

The company's HR Team has been shortlisted for its innovative approach to people engagement as well as its commitment to continuous employee development. Operations Manager Keith Burnett was also shortlisted for Contact Centre Manager of the Year for delivering exceptional campaign results, well exceeding industry standard.

Up against more than 90 contact centres up and down the country, this is EC's first time entering the awards following its accelerated growth over the last 12 months, with the addition of more than 85 new staff members as a result of new business wins.

HR Manager Nikki Welsh said: "We're absolutely over the moon to have been shortlisted for such prestigious awards. Given the infancy of our company, this is a fantastic achievement for both my team, and Keith, and we're so excited that we get a chance to show the rest of the industry who we are, what we've done, and what we can do going forward.

"As a business we have achieved so much since we formed in 2014, and even more so over the last 12 months, in terms of adding new departments and generating new business and employment opportunities.

"We take an innovative approach in the way we run our business and are keen advocates in both investing in our people as well as giving them the ability to shape the growth of the company.

"We will be attending the judging process in London in the next couple of weeks where we will get to showcase our skills and accomplishments to industry leading professionals."

The UK National Contact Centre Awards have been running for 23 years and were established to recognise the people behind the achievements of the industry and to champion their contributions to its success.

EC Outsourcing will be heading to London on 15th May where the winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner, held at The Brewery.
