PRESS RELEASE

4 January 2018

HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOR LOCAL CHILDREN AND HOMELESS PEOPLE

FROM THE WILTON CENTRE

The Wilton Centre helped to deliver a happy Christmas to local children and homeless people.

Office and laboratory occupiers at the Teesside science and business park collected 106 presents for children at EVA Women's Refuge in Redcar and 18 shoeboxes full of small presents, plus a number of larger donations, for Middlesbrough charity’s Hugs for the Homeless Christmas initiative.

Wilton Centre management also received a large quantity of food items which were donated to Footprints in the Community’s Foodbank.

“Collecting for charities at Christmas is something we do each year, and each year I am delighted by the generosity of the people and organisations based at the Wilton Centre.  We would like to thank them all for their wonderful effort on behalf of the charities,” says Steve Duffield, Site Director at the Wilton Centre.

Wilton Centre is a leading, privately-owned science and business park located in the heart of Teesside just five minutes’ drive from Middlesbrough.  It provides a wide range of top quality office, laboratory and pilot plant accommodation at competitive rental terms with immediate occupancy.  Set in a 75 acre landscaped site, it has its own lake and boasts 1,600 free car parking spaces.
