East Yorkshirepoultry business welcomes latest recruits

 

Leading East Yorkshire poultry supplier T.Soanes & Son has appointed three new staff members to support the growing business.

 

The Middleton-on-the-Wolds based business has been boosted by new recruits; William Jordan, Carolyn Pennock andNikki Rayiruand who are working in the finance and sales and marketing departments respectively.

 

Sales Administrator Nikki was previously employed at a slate suppliers andHead of Sales and Marketing Carolyn brings with her many years of experience in thefood industry across retail, quick service restaurants, food-service and business to business market sectors.

 

Completing the trio of new appointments is Assistant Management Accountant William who joins T.Soanes & Son froma car dealership, where he worked asanaccounts assistant.

 

Nigel Upson, General Manager,said he was delighted to welcome the recruits and was looking forward to working with them.

Carolyn, whose role involvesdeveloping both existing and new customer bases and communicating the business's quality and provenance messages,said she was delighted to take on the new role.

 

Having joined the company two months ago to maintain company accounts, William said the busy environment is one of the aspects of working at T.Soanes & Son he enjoys the most whilst one of Nikki's first observations was the friendly nature of the team at the office. Her main duties are looking after daily sales and office administration.

 

More than five million birds are reared yearly on 11 farms managed byT.Soanes & Sonand the business sells premium chicken to butchers, restaurateurs and independent retailers in Yorkshire and nationwide.

 

The business recently triumphed at the deliciouslyorkshire awards where its grain fed chicken fillet won best Meat Product and overall Supreme Champion. It also prospered at the Amazon sponsored Rural Business Awards where it won two awards;Britain's Best Rural Food and Drink Business and Rural Employer of the Year.
