NEW Digital label print and packaging solutions from New Solution Engineering showcased at SGIA

SGIA New Orleans, 10th- 12thOctober

Fresh from their European launch at Label Expo in Belgium last month, New Solution Engineering has taken its new digital label and packaging printers to SGIA in New Orleans this month (10-12 October).

It's the first showing in the US of all the New Solution printers together - the NS Atom, NS ProEVO and NS Multi - along with label stock manufactured by sister company DECAL.

Stewart Bell, VP Sales America said: "We've spent years developing the perfect combination of printer, inks and media, and we're delighted to be bringing these products to SGIA.

"We're convinced that visitors to the stand will be wowed by the speed and cost per print, and because all three models of printer have been manufactured from the ground-up by us, using the same Memjet Sirius heads and Niagara inks, and printing onto specially designed DECAL media, we can be 100% confident in our entire product offering."

NS Atom

The new NS Atom was officially launched at Label Expo, Belgium following its BETA outing at Print 17 in Chicago. This compact label printer is industrially built and designed for the short run digital label market. It can print onto either roll-to-roll self-adhesive labels or pre-cut labels. Print resolutions of up to 1600dpi x 800 dpi at a speed of 12 inches per second or 1600 dpi x 1600 at 6 inches per second, make the NS Atom a fast, productive and high quality printer.

Features:

  • Operator changeable head

  • Wide color gamut

  • Lower cost, scratch resistant Niagara inks

  • Solid steel construction

  • Up to 1800 x 1800 dpi

  • Up to 12" per second

NS ProEvo

The NS ProEVO is a second generation industrial digital label printer that will be showcased on the New Solution stand with its new Memjet Niagara inks. These water-based dye inks give the NS ProEVO a wider color gamut, extended head life, better durability and lower cost, therefore offering a lower print cost per label.

NS Multi

The NS Multi is aimed at packaging and label printers as well as in house print facilities and larger print service providers. It prints directly onto corrugated board and other rigid card or board and houses super-fast Memjet Sirius print heads running with Niagara water-based dye inks.

DECAL media

All three printers will be printing onto pre-coated media from DECAL, a sister company to New Solution. DECAL is renowned for its green credentials, and its products are solvent free, and FDA and ISEGA certified for food and human contact. Its UV adhesive is resistant to heat and humidity and offers excellent aging resistance and performance.

Value added partners

New Solution Engineering will be appointing and supporting their value-added partners in the US this year and using SGIA to build a solid route to market. Visit the stand to find out how New Solution digital label and packaging printers can make a real difference to your print business.
