Simply Ice Cream supports Olympic legend

Simply Ice Cream, Kent’s award-winning ice cream producer, is honoured to have supported Major Heather Stanning MBE as she crossed this year’s London Marathon finish line in just 3hrs and 32mins. All money raised was in aid of Kent-based charity Royal British Legion Industries who support veterans and those with disabilities into employment.
 

Heather’s online donation page, where she has amassed more than £3,000, will be live to receive donations for a few more weeks, with further pledges coming in from a silent auction, including star lot: ‘A session with double Olympic legends Heather and crew member Helen Glover MBE’. Other lots include signed photographs, signed Olympic race suits from London 2012 and Rio 2016, RBLI tee-shirts and a trip to the RBLI village in Aylesford.
