PRESS RELEASE
Get those dancing shoes on for a Strictly Dancing weekend break
Nestled in the heart of Dartmoor, one of the UK's most treasured locations, the Two Bridges Hotel is bringing a taste of Strictly Come Dancing to Devon with its Strictly Dancing weekend break. Hosted by the BBC programme's professional dancers Andrew Cuerden and Hanna Haarala, this exciting Strictly Dancing break takes place on the weekend of 20/21 October 2012 - coinciding with the new series of Strictly, which kicks off on BBC1 in September.
The hotel's beautiful dance floor is where you'll develop the skills to give you the confidence to get up and dance at any occasion. The Strictly Dancing break includes full ballroom and Latin tuition each morning and afternoon with Andrew and his partner Hanna; a dinner and dance cabaret on the Saturday evening, where guests can also watch Andrew and Hanna perform their famous Latin Emotion Cabaret; plus a tea dance on Sunday afternoon.
This fun dancing break includes two night's accommodation, full English breakfast each morning, light lunch each day and three course dinner each evening, plus plenty of tea and coffee throughout. The Strictly Dancing weekend break costs £225 per person, for two nights with arrival on Saturday 20 October.
Guests can dance as much or as little as they like - choosing to take a morning off if they desire. The classes are aimed at all levels, so you'll feel at ease as an absolute beginner, an avid social dancer or as an accomplished dancer wanting to polish your dance moves.
The privately run Two Bridges Hotel, situated in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, provides a cosy country retreat, and an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Dartmoor and the Devon coastline.
The hotel has 32 bedrooms, many boasting priceless views over Dartmoor, such as the Vivien Leigh Room (where the actress stayed) and many with four poster beds and deep spa baths.
Beyond the luxury bedrooms, there are cosy lounges with huge log fires and beautiful sweeping lawns leading down to the river Dart and 60 acres of hotel grounds to enjoy. Its award winning AA Rosette Tor Restaurant is filled with character and ambience and the menu is mouth-watering - delicious West Country beef fillet, West Country cheese board, clotted cream bread and butter pudding with English custard.

Notes to Editors
Hanna and Andrew starred in the third series of the BBC's Strictly Coming Dancing. Andrew partnered Holby City's Jayne Jacobs (Donna) and Hanna danced with actor Will Thorpe (Woody) previously in Casualty. They are both full time dancing teachers and are currently on tour with Brendan Cole's Live and Unplugged Tour.
Recently Dartmoor has figured prominently on stage and screen, playing a starring role in "War Horse" and "Sherlock" as well as featuring in the best-selling book and inspiring the film "We Bought a Zoo". To quote Steven Spielberg: "I have never before, in my long and eclectic career, been gifted with such an abundance of natural beauty as I experienced filming War Horse on Dartmoor."
