Glamp it up at Bestival on the Isle of Wight
Enjoy some creature comforts at Whitecliff Bay's own festival field
Bestival on the Isle of Wight signals the end of the summer festival season for 2012, with headline acts over the weekend of September 6-9, including Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine, New Order and Emeli Sande.
If you are heading over to the island for the festival but don't fancy camping in a field with thousands of other people, then you can 'glamp it up' at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park just down the road from the festival site.
In keeping with the festival feel, Whitecliff Bay has created the Magic Loungeabout, an area for guests, who just want to chill out with a drink and some laid-back summer tunes.
With bean bags and hay bales to relax on and a bar made out of apple crates, along with free wifi, guests will be able to soak up a festival-like atmosphere without the mud - and the crowds.
Whitecliff Bay's Canvas Village comprises 15 Bell Tents (sleeps four) and one Canvas Cottage (sleeps eight) already made up with lovely interiors, beds, heaters, TVs and stylish furnishings.
The park also has its very own secluded beach.
Away Resorts managing director Carl Castledine says: "Whitecliff Bay is very near to the Bestival site, and every year, many festival goers choose to swap the cramped festival conditions for the luxury of our park just down the road, while still enjoying all the bands.
It is the perfect option for festival goers who want to enjoy the music but are not too keen on completely immersing themselves into the full festival experience.
Prices start at £146 for four nights in a Bell Tent in the Canvas Village.

• Managing director Carl Castledine, finance director Neill Ryder and operations
director Greg Lashley set up Away Resorts early in 2008 when they purchased Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight. The company also acquired Tattershall Lakes Country Park in Lincolnshire in November 2009 and more recently Mill Rythe Holiday Village on Hayling Island in September 2010.

• At Whitecliff Bay - the addition of brand new holiday caravan accommodation, and the refurbishment of the restaurant and public spaces.
• At Mill Rythe Holiday Village - a large refurbishment programme is underway, improving all bedrooms and public spaces.
• At all parks, an improved day-time and evening entertainment programme provides plenty to do at any time of the day.
