The Cruz by Hyndsight Vision Systems is an especially designed lightweight, water resistant, fully wireless camera and monitor unit for rowing scull applications. The idea for Cruz came about when the company founder was volunteering at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, seeing boats repeatedly come within inches of colliding with each other and bridges.

The Cruz is the first product of its kind designed to assist rowers in seeing where they are going while reducing the need to turn and look over their shoulders or wear a tiny mirror on their head.

Supplied as a complete kit the Cruz includes: a glare resistant sunlight readable monitor, a tight angle camera, a flush mount, a rail mount, two antennas and charging accessories all in a rugged protective case. The water resistant Cruz can also be submerged for several minutes, so a capsized boat or heavy rain is not going to ruin this durable system.

As not all boats are the same, a selection of different mounts are also available allowing you to tailor make the system to suit you and your boat precisely.
