ANNIVERSARY MARKS GROWTH AND MOVE FOR SHEFFIELD AGENCY

A Sheffield creative services agency marking its first anniversary has increased its sales revenue threefold in the past six months, and is looking for new staff to support an expanding portfolio made up of local, national and global businesses. Red HQ has just relocated to larger premises in the Workstation on Paternoster Row, and will start a recruitment drive in the next few weeks.

The company is headed up by Richard Hall and Steve Quin. Both previously worked for the award winning Sheffield branding agency, DKPM which closed its doors in 2011 after 10 successful years. Red HQ's clients include companies in the electronics, computer games, aviation, education and medical sectors. They also collaborate with a number of other agencies.

Richard Hall puts the company's growth down to its provision of traditional graphic design and artwork services which he believes creative agencies have stopped focusing on in order to develop digital accounts.

Richard Hall comments: "Businesses everywhere will always need print items, be these brochures, sales tools, packaging, POS or large format displays for exhibitions and events. We have reams of experience in providing this type of marketing collateral, and when we set the business up it made sense to concentrate on our expertise. We've also gone all out to attract business from overseas, from countries which are not greatly affected by the global downturn.

"We can and do offer digital marketing services such as website development and e-commerce tools to go in hand with our traditional design and print items which make up a significant percentage of our workload. Steve and I are a great example of how redundancy can be a catalyst for change and a positive new start. We are really looking forward to a second successful year."
