Midlands based duo makes male grooming affordable again

The multi-billion pound worldwide male grooming market is proof that men are taking care of themselves, and their appearance, more than ever. Gentlemen's Order, a new subscription based shaving and beard care brand, launched in the UK this year and promise to bring the modern man back to the basics of grooming.

Michael Wells and Kieran Ashworth set up Gentlemen's Order in January 2016 and have a huge amount of regular subscribers to their male grooming subscription box service. The subscription service that Gentlemen's Order supplies contains products from three well-known industry trusted brands; The Shave Doctor, Dapper Duke and Kent brushes. The Midlands based duo behind the business have also secured Geordie Shore's Jay Gardner as a brand ambassador as part of their business expansion plan, who is said to be a huge fan of the service.

Michael Wells co-founder of Gentlemen's Order said, "Kieran and myself met at University, and had been saying for years that we wanted to start our own business and work for ourselves. After months of brainstorming, we managed to arrange a meeting with Jamie Dunn, a well-known entrepreneur from the Midlands. Jamie gave us some good, solid advice, and told us that he thought there was going to be a rise in the subscription based business model. This is where the cogs started turning and Gentlemen's Order was born. This didn't come without setbacks - it was almost called ‘Male Order' until we realised the questionable connotations. It would have made a great pun though!"

Unlike many of their competitors, the contents of the subscription boxes aren't made up of samples from many different brands, instead the business focuses on bringing the highest quality products to men across the UK, in full size products.

Kieran Ashworth co-founder of Gentlemen's Order said, "The industry is currently saturated with overpriced products. Gentlemen's Order provides customers with great products at a great price. Male grooming has become increasingly important however; a lot of gents are busy and often neglect their grooming routine. Gents who groom a beard often have to pay ridiculous prices for their grooming essentials such as a beard oil and wash. Our bespoke plans tackle this issue. We believe that having a good shave to set you up for the day should not break the bank".
 
 

Gentlemen's Order aims to simplify the way in which men go about their grooming habits, by providing subscription based grooming boxes for every kind of man. The entrepreneurial pair have embedded the principle of affordability into their brand, and when it comes to male grooming, the business is unwilling to compromise on quality. With their launch in January 2016 proving to be a huge success, the duo have recently put together their biggest marketing drive yet in the hope that in their first year of business, they can set themselves an impressive record to beat in 2017.
