PRESS RELEASE
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUPLE HEAD TO ‘THE BIG FEASTIVAL' TO TEMPT FESTIVAL GO-ERS WITH THEIR UNIQUE FEAST: A ROLL YOUR OWN HEALTH FOOD SNACK
Sam and Alex Lai from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, will be heading to their first Big Festival, which is run by Jamie Oliver and Alex James, to show off their unique ‘roll your own' health food snack called In the Nood.
Sam, 43, and Alex, 38, have created In the Nood from their home in Cheltenham. The snack, which comes in three different flavours is a ‘roll your own' make-and-go energy ball that can also be jazzed up by adding additional ingredients.
Sam says, ‘In the Nood is the new kid on the block in terms of healthy, guilt-free foods and, with an added twist, you can roll your own! The packs have no added sugar making them a great addition to a healthy eating regimen. Vegan and gluten free, In the Nood is the perfect roll-grab-and-go snack that is tasty and guilt-free, and works a treat for festivals. We're really excited to be heading to The Big Festival over the bank holiday weekend to share our snacks with the festival-go-ers. Being at a festival doesn't mean we have to eat unhealthily, and we'll be selling pre-rolled bites exclusively for Feastival for those on the go, as well as providing tasters of our flavours.'
In the Nood can tempt different taste buds with Orange and Cacao, Crunchy Cacao Chip, and Hired Muscle (which contains pea protein).
Sam and Alex work closely as a husband and wife team to perfect their roll your own energy ball snack, which is designed to stop those mid-week, mid-afternoon cravings and add a healthy dose of the good stuff, instead of the usual sweet treats. Sam adds: ‘In the Nood is a healthy snack with nothing to hide. The packs come with fully mixed dates, almonds and cashews, cacao and other amazing ingredients so you can roll your own energy ball.
‘We've created something that's nutritious and that can be jazzed up for folks' own recipes. They are a great pre or post work out snack, or a snack on the run, or, if you fancy it you can eat it from the bag! Kids will love them too - a whole host of creativity at their fingertips with them making their own recipes and creating fun cookie cutter shapes!'
‘We are really excited about showcasing In the Nood at The Big Feastival and finding out what people think of our unique snack. Folks can order online currently and we love to see the inspiring way people are customising our energy balls via social media.'
