#ShareTheLove for Natalie Gauci’s new album: The Real Journey
Australian Idol winner in 2007, singer/songwriter Natalie Gauci is launching a new album that she will take on tour. Teaming with Phundee, the UK-located rewards-based crowdfunding platform for arts and entertainment projects, Natalie is producing an interactive album – The Real Journey – that celebrates milestones in her meteoric, turbulent and exciting career over the decade since her popular success Down Under with hit record ‘Here I Am’.
Natalie chose to walk the ‘road less travelled’ from The Winner’s Journey, her first album in 2007, to her new project, The Real Journey: a path of meteoric rise to fame, followed by personal and professional struggles, leading to a redemptive and triumphant return to form and fitness – this time, on her own terms.
Determined to follow in the footsteps of Adele and Amy Winehouse, with music being soul and jazz influenced, Natalie moved to London in 2013 to pursue her dream of creating, recording and performing her own heart-felt songs and to realise her huge potential as an exceptional star in her own right. She is a darling of the music festival circuit, connecting with her growing number of fans with self-penned, passionate songs from the heart.
The Real Journey starts at Phundee
On 27 June 2016, Natalie launched an innovative crowdfunding campaign at Phundee for her new album – The Real Journey – with a promotional video and a live performance. The campaign reached its ‘green light’ milestone of 70% funding on 14 August 2016 with another three weeks to go to reach the full 100% funding target. Natalie is offering 35 rewards (ranging from £1 to £7500) in exchange for financial support from fans old and new, to suit every pocket from the youngest follower to the most committed superfan. She is producing the album in a unique interactive way: she is asking fans directly to vote for their favourite tracks to be included on The Real Journey. Natalie is taking her fans with her every step of the way. She is launching a new single – ‘Time of Our Lives’ – on 19 August 2016 to celebrate the success of the Phundee crowdfunding campaign.

‘Share The Love’ Tour
Natalie will ‘Share the Love’ on tour, scheduled for late 2016: she will give fans the gift of new songs from The Real Journey, performed with heart, soul and passion, and take audiences to new levels of understanding and appreciation of her talent. The preparation for ‘Share the Love’ starts today, with a promotional video that will premiere at Natalie’s keynote gig at the O2’s Water Margin venue at 7.30 pm on 1 September 2016: get goosebumps at the gig by experiencing Natalie’s exceptional songwriting and outstanding performances.
