English Italian Awards Finalist

Veeno, the chain of Italian Wine Cafés have been shortlisted for three awards in this year's prestigious English Italian Awards.

The chain of Italian Wine Cafés, Veeno, founded by Nino Caruso and Andrea Zecchino in 2013 has been shortlisted for three awards in the 2016 English Italian Awards. The duo have cornered the casual dining market by introducing the Aperitivo culture to the UK and with eight cafés to their name, we’d say it’s been a big hit!

The awards Veeno has been shortlisted for are Best Multiple Operator, Best Newcomer (Veeno Bristol) & Best Deli/Café (Veeno Nottingham).

Speaking to Nino and Andrea, they said “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best Italian operators. Even if we are a relatively young business, our fast growth shows that we are already an established brand, well-known across the UK. Thanks for all the votes, we look forward to the gala night!”

The initial voting was put in the hands of the general public to suggest their favourite Italian businesses and following the final judging process the winners will be announced at a glitzy awards ceremony at the Palace Hotel, Manchester on September 18th.
