New Head of Housing Management for SARH

Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) has appointed Neil Whittenbury as its new Head of Housing Management.

The 43-year-old joins Stafford's largest landlord after working for the past nine years at Midland Heart Housing Association, most recently as Head of Neighbourhoods.

Originally from Sutton Coldfield, where he attended Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, Neil graduated from the University of Portsmouth, with a BSc in Land Management, before starting his career as a trainee housing officer in Hull.

He now lives in Staffordshire and says he is looking forward to the challenge of his new role at SARH, where he's responsible for the Income, Allocations and Neighbourhoods teams.

"I'm delighted to be joining SARH at such an exciting time, with several high-profile developments nearing completion," he said. "I've also been very impressed with the fair and open culture at SARH and the organisation's clear sense of purpose when it comes to identifying housing needs and then finding innovative ways to meet those needs."

Away from work, Neil enjoys cycling and also helps out at a Scout pack, where his two sons are members.
