Searcys at 30 Pavilion Road welcomes Franck Jeandon as Executive Chef

Franck Jeandon has joined Searcys at 30 Pavilion Road as its Executive Chef where he hopes to use his vast experience to bring to life sumptuous menus for weddings and private parties.

Searcys at Pavilion Road has long been a luxurious setting for private parties, exclusive dinners and weddings. The country-style townhouse in the heart of Knightsbridge offers sophisticated surroundings for sumptuous dinners, elegant cocktail parties and exclusive private events.

Franck has already made an impact on the menus inspired by seasonal produce with dishes including Butternut squash pithivier, Truffle mousse stuffed Lincolnshire chicken breast and Black bream fillet with Puy lentil stew.

Before joining Searcys he worked for many renowned fine dining restaurants including The Wallace Collection, Coq d'Argent, One Seven Nine Shaftesbury Avenue, Hilton Park Lane and Monte's Club, as well as working as a lecturer at Le Cordon Bleu.

He commented: "It is an exciting time to be working here, we are re-thinking everything and creating a new team. This is a new adventure for me and the venue is growing in the right direction. Most important though is the personal touch we apply to every event. I like to meet with the people I am creating menus for and work around their ideas so we can come up with something truly inspiring that reflects the whole of their event as well as my own passion for seasonality and quality."

As well as enjoying a wedding or evening of fine dining at 30 Pavilion Road, guests can take advantage of the 11 boutique bedrooms which provide luxurious and stylish accommodation as well as its newly launched Lanson Roof Terrace - the ideal location for summer soirées.

Since 1847, Searcys has been one of the UK's most prestigious hospitality companies. With a passion for quality and an ability to execute an event to the very highest standards, it has developed a world-famous reputation for food and hospitality at its iconic, exclusive venues in London, the City and Bath.

The company was founded by the Duke of Northumberland's pastry chef with the plan to provide an outsourced catering service for large, private houses in London and the Home Counties that lacked full-time domestic staff. Over the next 120 years, Searcys were awarded a royal warrant and became the contract caterer of choice not just to royalty, but also to many of London's stately homes.

In the 1970s, Searcys opened a series of bars and small restaurants in London as its first permanent sites, and in 1990, was appointed as catering partner to the Barbican. In 2010, Searcy's returned to being a privately owned, self-autonomous company, enabling it to focus on an absolute dedication to quality and building on its track record for innovation.

Today Searcys portfolio of venues includeM by Montcalm Shoreditch, Searcys St Pancras Grand, Searcys | The Gherkin, 30 Pavilion Road, Blenheim Palace and Bath Assembly Rooms

Searcys encompasses three different sectors:

  • Sales & Revenue Maximisation:We have a large, proactive sales team with an enviable black book of contacts. They work tirelessly at not just filling a venue, but filling it with the right events, driving the venue's commerciality by increasing awareness and putting it firmly on the map.

  • Innovation & Development:From creating one of the first in-gallery destination restaurants to opening the incredible Westfield Champagne Bar, innovation drives us forward, working with partners to find new ways of solving old problems.

  • Creating Partnerships:Partnering clients and customers for maximum benefit is our absolute objective. We do this by understanding their needs then delivering the optimum solution.
