Hoppecke to launchnew lithium-ion (LiOn) battery and charger

Hoppecke Industrial Batteries - the leading specialist for industrial battery systems and the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership - will use the IMHX exhibition to showcase its brand new lithium-ion (LiOn) battery and charger.

Visitors to Stand 11M47 will also be able to see Hoppecke's new explosion-proof battery and charger alongside one of the company's wide range of battery changing systems. In addition, the energy specialist will reveal details of its recently introduced and revamped five-year warranty policy for all motive power customers while highlighting the full range of maintenance and support services on offer to battery users in all sectors.

Also on display from Hoppecke Industrial Batteries will be its established lead acid and fibre nickel cadmium (FNC) battery technologies and the company's integrated intelligent energy solutions that use ‘trak-IP' technology to make more data available to customers.

Finally, the IMHX stand will feature Hoppecke's range of other energy storage technologies to support a customer's entire site, including battery back-up with uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) and solar energy storage solutions, linking the entire ‘green logistics' concept.

The new lithium-ion battery ‘trak | power LiOn' from Hoppecke has been developed to satisfy the trend in the market towards longer life in-cycling applications and better performance. The trak | power LiOn basic modules are produced in Germany and can be interconnected to form complete battery systems.

Benefits of the space-saving new battery include greater machine or vehicle availability, low operating costs and zero costs for replacement during the entire life of the machine. Typical applications would include industrial trucks, lifting platforms, AGV systems, cleaning machines and local authority cleaning vehicles, electric boats and commercial vehicles, wheelchairs, golf carts, and electric and hybrid vehicles.

Says Hoppecke Industrial Batteries' Managing Director Jason Howlett: "IMHX is an important exhibition for us so we have created an incredibly striking stand that will showcase the vast range of technologies we have to offer the energy-hungry industries of the 21st century."

He adds: "Visitors to our stand this year cannot fail to be impressed with the Hoppecke portfolio of energy management solutions, including the most advanced batteries and chargers backed up by the best service and support package available anywhere on the market today."
