Things to do this summer - Konfidence launches First Golden Bucket Competition

KONFIDENCE SPONSORS FIRST GOLDEN BUCKET

SAND ART COMPETITION

 

 

Youngsters are being encouraged to show off their creative talents when they head to the beach this summer by taking part in the inaugural Golden Bucket Sand Art Competition.

 

The 12-week competition, which is being sponsored by The Original Konfidence Swim Jacket by Konfidence™, launches on 1stJuly 2016 and offers children aged up to 8 years the chance to win a bucketful of great prizes.

 

Not only will the overall winner of the best sand art design win the coveted ‘Golden' Bucket and Spade trophy and a selection of beach goodies from Konfidence and their friends at Trunki and Bombura, two runners-up will also win silver and bronze Bucket and Spade trophies as well as beach-related prizes. And there will be a weekly winner, who will receive a framed certificate too.

 

Encouraging children to take up the fun Golden Bucket summer challenge, Andy Regan, MD of Cornwall-based Konfidence, which designs and manufactures award-winning wetsuits, buoyancy swim jackets and floatsuits, said he was looking forward to seeing lots of fantastic sand art designs.

 

"Going to the beach is all about having fun with family and friends - kids are always creating great bits of art - so why not take a snap and enter the competition?" he said.

 

"Many of us have great memories of building sand castles when we were children, armed with nothing more than a bucket, spade and a heap of imagination, we couldn't resist being headline sponsors of this lovely competition."

 

"While we are not expecting the Taj Mahal, I've no doubt we'll see some fun ‘beach themed' sand figures and designs over the coming weeks. We're looking forward to seeing all the entries, from mermaids and castles to sea creatures and boats - whatever sparks a child's imagination."

 

It couldn't be easier to enter the Golden Bucket Sand Art Competition - simply take a photo of your sand art and upload it to Konfidence's Facebook page at ‘KonfidenceUK', using the hashtag #goldenbucket. Entries open on 1stJuly and end on 30thSeptember 2016.

 

The competition is open to all UK children aged up to eight years.

 

During the 12-week campaign, Konfidence will also be donatingmoney from its sales of Original Konfidence Swim Jackets to Cornwall Air Ambulance via www.konfidence.co.uk.
