Family fun with The King's Head in Harborne to raise funds for Queen Alexandra College
On Saturday the 2nd July, The King's Head are holding their biggest event yet - Their ‘Summer Social' to raise funds for the Queen Alexandra College; a national college for people with disabilities.
The Queen Alexandra College, based in Birmingham, creates challenging learning opportunities for people with visuals impairment and other disabilities to release their potential to work and live independently. During their time at the Queen Alexandra College, learners can develop their academic and social skills, make new friends and enjoy being independent and responsible for their own decisions. The college can trace its history back to 1874, when the General Institution for the Blind was founded by Mary Badger and Elizabeth Harrold.

Our main aim is to not only raise funds for the incredible work that the Queen Alexandra College does, but to also spread the word about the college itself".
