Call to help shape the future of mobile heavy-duty vehicle lift training
Workshop managers across the coach and bus, commercial vehicle and waste and recycling industries are being asked to help shape the future of mobile heavy-duty lift training.
The UK's leading provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifts, TOTALKARE, is appealing for help with a study on attitudes towards training in workshops of all sizes.
It will help to establish levels of formal training among lift operators and identify key trends across different sectors, and possible barriers to effective training. This is particularly important as training is essential if workshops are to comply with health and safety legislation.
Tristan Johnston, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Halesowen-based company, explained, "Over many years, we have helped to train hundreds of operators of mobile heavy-duty vehicles, but from our experience attitudes towards training vary widely across the industries we serve.
"We've embarked on this study to try and better understand the marketplace as we prepare to re-launch our own training packages that, with the help of this research, will set a new benchmark for the industry."
To help shape future training, all workshop managers, operatives and anyone involved in the use of mobile heavy-duty lifts have to do is fill in a short survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TOTALKARE. The survey only takes a couple of minutes to complete and individual responses will remain confidential.
