Thorite Appoints Vacuum Systems Product Champion 

Thorite, the UK's biggest independent distributor of pneumatic products and process systems, has appointed Phill Whittleston (38) to the new position of Vacuum Systems Product Champion.

This appointment enables Thorite to increase its overall vacuum and blower expertise and offer customers in-depth problem solving abilities. It also strengthens ties between Thorite and Gardner Denver, a leading manufacturer providing the Elmo Rietschle range of vacuum systems, products and parts. 

There are many similarities between the compressed air systems which Thorite specialises in designing, supplying and servicing, and centralised vacuum systems which many of their customers also use. Phill has benefitted from in-depth training for his new role and will now be the first point of contact for all centrally located vacuum systems enquiries, ensuring customers receive the best in service, product knowledge and advice relating to energy saving, operational features, applications, legislation and safety. 

Phill will be partnered by Gardner Denver sales engineers on site visits when required and ably supported by Thorite service engineers andThorite's Capital Sales Team who have undertaken Elmo Rietschle sales and product training.
