When timber specialist, Sampson Products, decided to launch a brand of high quality, handcrafted wooden beds, the team knew only one coating specialist would do. Having worked with Teknos in the established "timber" business, Sampson turned to the expert to provide the seven colours and strains required for the stylish, contemporary designs for new bed range, Vinor.

"Our core business is timber manufacturing and processing of components for the bed industry so diversification into furniture and bed manufacturing was the next logical step," explained Simon Banks, Managing Director of Sampson Products and Vinor.

The new Vinor wooden beds contain no board laminate or veneer; they are manufactured on site from Scandinavian raw timber. The range includes bases for six mattress sizes ranging from 2' 6" to 6'. The bases are available in seven stylish contemporary designs in seven Teknos colours and stains.

"As this is a brand new product and market for us, our aim is to provide a high quality finish that that complements the quality of our joinery work. I knew the quality of coatings and paints already and the support Teknos provides was exactly what we were looking for," explained Simon.
