As Hoppecke continues to invest and grow in the UK, the industrial battery systems specialist has recruited two new account managers to support customers with their battery and energy storage needs.
Hoppecke Industrial Batteries - the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership - has appointed Amen Samra as new Account Manager for Motive Power.
With over seven years of experience in the power generation industry working for the Caterpillar dealer Finning Power Systems, Amen has worked on and delivered a diverse portfolio of projects. These include providing bespoke generators for the British Ministry of Defence in Afghanistan and Iraq and supporting the oil and gas industry with remote power in the harshest of environments.
Amen decided it was time for a fresh challenge and took the opportunity to join Hoppecke's reinvigorated sales team headquartered in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Amen is looking forward to learning all about this new industry and using his broader power management knowledge to deliver a quality service to customers. Amen can be contacted by email on amen.samra@hoppecke.co.uk or by phone on 07920 476764.
The second Account Manager for Motive Power to be appointed is Jon Wells, who has returned to Hoppecke after a brief spell outside the power management industry. Having started his career in the Royal Navy and then built up more than 14 years of experience in the battery sector, Jon will use his extensive knowledge and contacts to support the continued growth and development of Hoppecke's UK business.
Jon, who can be contacted via jon.wells@hoppecke.co.uk or 07966 652880said: "Recent additions to the team - including strengthening service, coupled with new product development - have made Hoppecke UK an extremely attractive company to be part of."
Jason Howlett, Managing Director of Hoppecke UK, added: "I'm delighted Amen joined the business and his broader skill and knowledge will complement the existing skills and experience in the company. Bringing Jon back into the business was an easy decision too and I'm thrilled he can see the positive changes that have taken place in Hoppecke over the past year. These two important additions to the team will keep building the momentum we are creating in Hoppecke and everyone is genuinely excited to see the transformation that is taking place here."
