About the Author

A K Michaels (Ava) was born in Scotland and married at a young age. She is mother to three much loved children and returned to higher education after her third child was born. Ava worked in the banking industry for a number of years before she moved abroad for several years.

Ava returned to Scotland and embarked on her dream job as an author, she wrote her first book whilst undergoing therapy for OCD and anxiety issues and is now the author of the Highland Wolf Clan, The Witch, The Wolf and the Vampire, Supernatural Enforcement Bureau, Defender's Blood, Sabrina's Vampire, The Black Rose Chronicles, together with Lori's Wolf Pack. Her books are part of the hugely successful and fast-growing Paranormal/Urban Fantasy genre and The Black Rose Chronicles are Dystopian. In all her novels paranormal beings feature in abundance and she loves writing stories where her imagination can run wild.

Ava now spends her time reading everything from sci fi to crime, erotica to fantasy, thrillers to paranormal romance. She loves spending time with her family and, of course, writing. She lives just outside of Glasgow in East Kilbride in Scotland.
