Plug that gap with TP652 Compriband Trio Plus from tremco illbruck

TP652 Compriband Trio Plus sealing tape is designed to meet the onerous demands of even the Passive House standard in new-build constructions, as well as outperforming other products in refurbishment projects.

Comprising an open cell, pre-compressed impregnated soft polyurethane foam, TP652 is ideal for the perimeter sealing of window and doors against wind and driving rain. At the same time, the tape provides thermal insulation for the entire depth of the installation and ensures an airtight barrier is formed. TP652 is also suitable for sealing panel joints, including those in offsite construction systems.

As the name indicates, TP652 CompribandTrioPlus replaces three sealing products with just one. Before the window is installed, the tape is easily fixed to the frame with its integrated self-adhesive peel off strip. The window is then installed into the opening and fixed in the normal manner. Once installed, the TP652 expands to provide weather, air and thermal resistance between the frame and the structure. By fitting in this way, TP652 can deliver up to 80% timesavings during assembly, compared with the three separate products otherwise needed.

In windows with a depth of 70 mm, TP652 Compriband Trio Plus can deliver U-values down to 0.8 W/m²K while in 80 mm windows a U-value of 0.6W/m²K can be achieved. The product also has acoustic attenuation properties and will deliver sound insulation of up to 51 dB in a 15 mm joint.
 

TP652 Compriband Trio Plus is available in a range of sizes to suit joint gaps from 6 mm to 30 mm and is suitable for all window types.
