Iturri launches new Karrimor cold weather boot

Iturri, a world leading provider of military footwear, equipment and clothing introduced three new boots earlier this year at DVD 2012, which the company is now supplying to the UK Armed Forces.

The boots, which will complement those already supplied by Iturri, will meet the increasing demand by troops for high quality and versatile footwear to meet the requirements of different terrains and operational situations. Importantly it will also provide the troops on the ground with a greater choice.

Included in the Iturri portfolio for the first time is a boot by outdoor equipment brand leaders Karrimor, the Karrimor SF Cold Weather boot. This full grain waterproof leather boot has a 3M Thinsulate lining for improved thermal performance and a Goretex membrane. Its Vibram outsole gives improved durability.

The Alt-Berg Defender is a full grain boot with water repellent leather upper. A rugged Vibram outsole gives additional grip and enhanced performance while the Cordura lining provides extra comfort and much improved wearability.

Iturri will also supply a new boot from Miendl, another popular brand with soldiers. The Desert Fox PRO has a new enhanced suede leather upper and Clima lining with an Air-Active Vildona dry sole footbed. It is finished with Miendl's unique multi grip sole unit.

Also on display were the Magnum Desert Scorpion, a high quality suede boot with Breath Right lining to maximise breathability and comfort and Agion anti-bacterial lining. The Bates Ultralite in high quality leather and fabric with breathable mesh lining for improved wearer comfort and resistant rubber outsole completed the range.
