Sunward set to showcase best sellers at Executive Hire Show

Mini-excavators, a skid steer and a scissor lift will feature on Sunward's stand at the show.

Plant and equipment manufacturer Sunward returns to this year's Executive Hire Show to showcase a quartet of its best sellers.

A pair of mini-excavators, a skid steer and a scissor lift will take pride of place on Sunward's stand (B12-C10) at the Coventry Building Society Arena on February 14thand 15th.

The mini-excavators are Sunward's award-winning zero-tail SWE 18UF and SWE 25UF. The former, 1.8-tonne machine is a master of all trades, ideal for rental, utilities, foundation work, landscaping, internal demolition, and construction projects.

With two auxiliary lines and quick hitch line as standard for flexibility it features exceptional digging forces of over 22.7 kN (bucket) and over 9.83 kN (arm, which easily rival two-tonne excavator competitors. And when it comes to its long-reach digging capacity, the SWE 18UF has an impressive reach of over four metres (4,120mm).

The 2.5-tonne SWE 25UF's additional power, efficiency and versatility is perfect for working on an incline, urban job sites, or more generally in confined spaces, making it one of Sunward's European bestsellers.

When it comes to skid steers, Sunward's mid-range 3.5-tonne SWL 3230 has a rated operating capacity of 1,100kg and torque of 265/1 500 N*m/rpm in addition to a tipping load of 2,200kg, breakout force curl of 2,480kg, and breakout force lift of 2,430kg.

And in scissor lifts, Sunward's 1.5-tonne electric SWSL 0807DC has a maximum working height of eight metres, lift capacity of 230kg, and turning radius of 1.67 metres.

At the Executive Hire Show, Sunward representatives will be on the stand to provide information on the manufacturer's full range of equipment, warranties and competitive finance packages.

Note to editors:

With more than 400 engineers working in R&D, the Sunward group has a peerless technical DNA. One of its early successes was developing an electric excavator in the early 2000s, making it one of the pioneers in this field.

A network of more than 140 dealers now covers all of Europe, including 15 in the UK and Ireland. To support this growth, Sunward Europe has invested in new premises in Tessenderlo, Belgium, from where it provides technical and logistical support for this dealer network, with more than 95% availability of spare parts.

As well as spare part storage, the 25,000m2site has a large stock of machines, a demonstration area, a technical training centre, and a vast workshop for customising machines to meet the needs of the individual European markets.
